The Challenge
The neo-bank aimed to rapidly launch a Visa credit card as a strategic growth engine to acquire new customers. With no legacy system to fall back on, they had to start with a greenfield implementation, but faced a tight window to beat competitors and capture market share. At the same time, they needed to navigate Indonesia's specific regulatory landscape - including local data residency requirements - and ensure a fully compliant, scalable platform from day one.
Why They Chose Us
After evaluating global and regional vendors, the client selected our solution for three decisive reasons:
1. Proven speed-to-market: Demonstrated ability to deliver a complete credit card solution on an accelerated timeline.
2. Deep domain and integration expertise: Our team brought rich, hands-on experience in implementing and interfacing with global card networks such as Visa, combined with a track record of successful projects across Asia-Pacific.
3. Value-added advisory capability: Beyond pure product delivery, we acted as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on the entire card business architecture, surrounding ecosystems, and operational readiness.
Solution & Implementation Highlights
We are delivering a comprehensive credit card issuing platform covering the full lifecycle: application processing, credit limit management, card management, authorization and clearing, installment plans, statement generation, repayments, and delinquency management. The entire solution is built to meet Indonesia's financial regulations, with all cardholder data residing within the country.
The true differentiator was our architecture decision: we successfully adopted Visa Cloud Connect, a pioneering cloud-based connectivity model that bypasses the traditional on-premise local network interface (EAS). By connecting directly to Visa's core network via the cloud, we eliminated complex local hardware procurement, setup, and dedicated network line testing. This approach not only significantly reduced project lead time but also positioned both our client and us as early leaders in Visa's next-generation card issuance model in the region.
